Princess Leia

Our sweet Princess Leia needed just the right home.

At a mere 3 yrs of age she had been in the shelter 3 times and 3 times pulled by area all breed rescues- only to keep losing her homes to be dumped into the shelter again.

Along came Rick and Olivia, previous Akita owners that led an active life and were really willing and able to commit to this energetic petite girl. Now days are spent fishing and jogging that energy out and hopefully soon a CGC title and maybe agility..

Way to go Rick, Olivia and Leia-
Solo- re-named Shadow

Solo- re-named Shadow, is now fattened up and leg fixed thanks to the wonderful care of Molly and Gordon Rice.
Shadow now resides with our wonderful adopter Jacque in the Seattle area, and plans are being made to get his Therapy title. Way to go Jacque and Shadow!

Harley

One of our board members has this to say about this handsome fella: “I met Harley this afternoon. He is a GREAT dog!!! Sweet, affectionate, playful, gives kisses to anyone, let me brush him, touch his privates to check his incision with no problem.  His coat is good now and he has a nice head. Bob’s neighbors put him in the shower with them and scrubbed him up this morning. Keep in mind Harley has only been there since Friday!!! This boy is a treasure.”
Max & Sassy

Max and Sassy waited over three long years for their forever home and my was the wait worth it.
Although the Hunter family only came looking for one companion they simply could not separate these two.
Today they can't imagine having left one behind and their generosity of spirit has filled their hearts and home and Max and Sassy's also! Read more on their ventures under adopters stories.
We are following their Journey to come in hoping to get Therapy titles on one or both.
